For the second consecutive year, Vertas and Concertus Design and Property Consultants, both part of Vertas Group, are proud to have sponsored the Our Derbyshire Awards 2024.

The event, held on Thursday, 16th May, is dedicated to celebrating Derbyshire County Council’s people and provides an opportunity to recognise individuals’ achievements formally.

Now in their second year, the awards are designed by colleagues, for colleagues, and run by a team of volunteers from across the council’s departments.

This year, after many high-quality nominations were received and carefully reviewed by the Derbyshire County Council’s shortlisting panel, the winners were selected. The difficult decision to determine the winners was made according to how closely individuals met the award criteria and aligned with the council’s values.

Vertas Group was pleased to present two awards: the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Adult Social Care and Health (ASCH) department and the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Place department. By sponsoring these awards, the Group is proud to champion those who make a positive impact in the community.

The awards were presented by Karen Burrowes and Jess Etienne on behalf of Vertas and Concertus Design and Property Consultants, respectively. For those lucky enough to attend, it was truly inspiring to witness the outstanding achievements showcased by the nominees and winners.

As part of the prestigious event, guests were treated to an array of drinks and a buffet in addition to the formal award presentations. These awards not only highlight exceptional achievements but inspire others to continue striving for excellence.

The Group is delighted to have contributed to the event and would like to extend its congratulations to all the finalists and winners for their hard work. The team would also like to give a special mention to Elizabeth Naylor and Sue Jackson for winning the awards, it’s a pleasure to play a part in recognising their success.
