Vertas Group Charity Golf Day Raised £1,500 for Cancer Research UK

The Vertas Charity Golf Day has raised £1,500 for our charity of the year, Cancer Research UK.

On 30^th September 45 golfers, representing 11 local and national businesses, bought ‘Mulligans’ which gave them a second go at a shot, raffle tickets and bid in a live auction.

The day was hosted by its Chief Executive Officer, Ian Surtees MBA FloD, and held at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club.

The club’s Gainsborough course, which features four substantial lakes, was played with a two-tee start where all teams begin simultaneously from two different holes.

The companies represented on the day were: Vertas Group Limited, Bidfood, Imtech, Investigo, Opus People Solutions, Concertus, Marshall Leasing, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, Oakpark Security and Barclays.
