Vertas Family Saddened by Loss of Liz Palmer

It is with great sadness we announce Liz Palmer, Head of Kitchen at Forest Academy Brandon, passed away peacefully with family by her side at St Nicholas Hospice on the 21st December after her battle with cancer. Liz had spent her time with us as a Relief Head of Kitchen and as a permanent Head of Kitchen in Mildenhall and Brandon.

In March she was a guest at the Making the Difference Staff Awards, shortlisted for ‘Employee of the year’ due to her passion and dedication to her job.
