Clients, customers and staff of Vertas can now vote for their number one Vertas employees and teams to be recognised at the annual Making the Difference Staff Awards.
Now in its third year, the Making the Difference Staff Awards were established to recognise the ongoing commitment of colleagues across the business who are going above and beyond the call of duty; whilst improving processes, driving forward client and customer satisfaction and demonstrating innovation within their roles.
In celebration of the nominations going live, Vertas is also delighted to announce 2018’s headline sponsor – DCS, a Chelmsford-based supply partner specialising in disposables and catering supplies.
The event; which is entirely funded by Vertas’ local supply partners takes place on Friday 2nd March 2018 in The Hangar at Kesgrave Hall, Milsoms and is attended by Vertas staff, clients, suppliers and a host of Vertas stakeholders.
There are ten categories open for all colleagues within the Vertas Group; whether they’re a Groundsman, School Food Service Assistant, Cleaner, Property Advisor or Gas Engineer we want to hear about local heroes!
The categories for the 2018 event are as follows:
- Employee of the Year
Vertas staff are the business’ primary assets in delivering service excellence – this award is designed to recognise the significant contribution that an individual has made to the Vertas Group, its clients and customers.
- Team of the Year
We are looking for teams that have demonstrably gone the extra mile to improve the way they work, for example; to champion client satisfaction or deliver improved service standards.
- Innovation
Without innovation the business would never move forward, this award shines a light on individuals and teams that recognise the vital importance that innovative ideas and creativity play within the Vertas Group.
- Going the Extra Mile
This award recognises an individual or team that has gone above and beyond during their time within the Vertas Group; providing service excellence for the client or unwavering support to colleagues.
- Customer 1st
This award recognises an individual or team that has provided exceptional customer and / or client service over a sustained period of time and who consistently demonstrates a ‘customer first’ culture.
- Sustainability
Sustainability is one of Vertas’ core values because not only is it the right thing to do for the environment, it can have business efficiency benefits too. This award recognises where sustainable practices have been put at the heart of the Vertas way of working.
- Colleagues Champion
This award recognises an employee who has consistently supported their work colleagues and is always there to help others.
- Inspiring Leaders
This award recognises our Inspiring leaders who develop and motivate their teams to deliver service excellence in their chosen speciality.
- Specialist of the Year
This award seeks to reward and recognise our service specialists who innovate and develop their area of expertise for the benefit of the Vertas Group, its clients and customers.
- Lifetime Achievement
This accolade is to recognise a member of our team who has over the years consistently strived to develop their service area, team and add value to the organisation in its many guises.
