Vertas Group reflects on the remarkable fundraising efforts undertaken in 2023 in support of its chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.

Throughout 2023, the Group’s dedicated colleagues worked tirelessly, organising various fundraising events that captured the hearts and wallets of its colleagues.

With this stark statistic in mind, Vertas Group endeavours to raise much-needed funds, providing vital resources, support and hope for those in need.

From the Great Vertas Group Bake Off to the Vertas’ annual Charity Golf Day, each event in 2023 contributed to the staggering total of £7,622.00, which the Group is immensely proud of. The team continued to hit the mark with every initiative, demonstrating its commitment to creativity with events that included a dog walking month in August, and two second hand-days.

As Vertas Group continues to grow, the company remains committed to the local communities in which it operates, striving to maintain a culture where making a positive impact is as much of a priority as reaching business milestones.

The company are keen to recognise this whole group effort would not be possible without the enthusiasm and generosity of its colleagues and extend its gratitude to all who have participated, donated and volunteered.

As the team embark on a new year of fundraising, last year’s total donations remain a stepping stone for future fundraising initiatives. Vertas Group hopes to not only meet but succeed in these efforts in 2024, continuing to positively impact the lives of those in need.

Ian Surtees, MBA FIoD, Chief Executive Officer of Vertas Group: “We are tremendously proud of our colleagues who have gone above and beyond to raise essential funds for Cancer Research UK, our chosen Charity. The success of our fundraising efforts is a testament to the power of collective effort and highlights the vital role businesses play in supporting the community.”
