Suffolk-based facilities management provider and Suffolk County Council’s wholly owned subsidiary; Eastern Facilities Management Solutions Ltd (EFMS) has had a complete makeover, resulting in a new name, new website and new home.

EFMS which will be known as Vertas from 1st September 2015 has undergone major changes over the last few months; allowing the business to grow and improve on its support to clients including Suffolk County Council and over 300 schools in the region.

Further to the change in name, Vertas will also launch a brand new website www.vertas.co.uk on 1st September, the website has been developed to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve when it comes to its online presence; thus allowing the business to move with the times and stand out as a leading facilities management provider.

Further to the rebrand, new website and to allow Vertas to build on its vision for growth and expansion within the company, the head office is moving from its current home at Saxon House on the Hadleigh Road Industrial Estate in Ipswich to Beacon House on the Landmark Business Park.

This move is into a newer, bigger and more geographically convenient office space, allowing for better access to customers and staff. The office building is neighbouring Landmark House where Vertas currently operates services for Suffolk County Council and Police staff. The business will become fully operational at Beacon House from 1st September 2015.

Ian Surtees, Group Managing Director of Vertas, said:

“Since the Executive Team and I joined the company towards the end of last year a great deal of work has been carried out to improve business processes and create a company that its staff, clients and stakeholders can be proud of.

“It is our collective passion to put the customer at the heart of everything we do and we felt strongly that in order to accomplish our goals as a commercially driven company we needed to revamp and reenergise what we currently had in operation, allowing for business improvement, future growth and subsequent creation of good local jobs.

“I am delighted with all that has been accomplished and I am proud of the support and hard work of those internally and externally who have made this transition a success.”
