To celebrate the opening of nominations for the second annual Making the Difference Awards, the Vertas Group is excited to announce McCain Foods as the 2017 headline sponsor.

The supplier-funded awards create an opportunity for colleagues within the Vertas Group to be recognised for their ongoing commitment to the company. We are searching out those across the business who are going above and beyond the call of duty; whilst improving processes, driving forward client and customer satisfaction and demonstrating innovation within their roles.

The event; which is entirely funded by our local supply partners will take place on Friday 3rd March 2017 in the Sir Bobby Robson suite at Ipswich Town Football Club.

There are ten categories open for all Vertas Group colleagues; whether they’re a Groundsman, School Food Service Assistant, Cleaner, Property Advisor or Gas Engineer we want to hear about your local heroes! The categories for the 2017 event are as follows:

“Our colleagues work tirelessly day in, day out to ensure excellent service delivery. The awards ceremony presents the opportunity to showcase the real stars within the Vertas Group and celebrate their career successes.

“I would warmly encourage our clients, customers, colleagues and all those who work with the Vertas Group to recognise these dedicated ones and nominate now!

“A huge thank you goes out to McCain Foods and our other supply partners for funding the awards evening – it would not be possible without their support.”

Peter Elflain, McCain Foods’ Business Manager, said:

“Having sponsored The Lifetime Achievement Category in 2016, we have taken the headline sponsorship this year. Giving caterers recognition for the amazing work they do on a daily basis is hugely important to us as a business, and last year’s awards, the first ever, was a great success.

“Having enjoyed forging a successful partnership with Vertas, working closely with them to provide the right products and insight to support their business needs, it was an easy decision to take part in the awards again this year.

“We look forward to continuing our close working relationship with Vertas to achieve mutual goals for both businesses.”
